Book 2 in A.E Radley’s Flight series

Meanwhile the world of first-class flight attendant Emily White comes crashing down around her when she loses her job with Crown Airlines. When a twist of fate brings them together will they finally be able to understand each other?
Why oh why isn’t there a third book waiting for me?
Do you ever finish a book and release you didn’t want it to end? Well that’s how I felt when I finished ‘Grounded’. This book begins two weeks after the cliffhanger in book one. And be ready, because you won’t expect what’s going to happen to this amazing couple next.
Olivia is miserable without Emily. She can’t stop thinking about her and Emily is still angry but she’s also dealing with her relationship ending and how it’s effecting Henry. But a massive issue with the Airline company throws them back together in the most interesting way.
I thought I had connected with these characters in book one but by reading this book I realised I was only half way there. Book one I was 100% invested in this relationship working but in the second book I fell even further into the story and I felt like I was almost living it. I think what really cemented this book for me was Henry. I think I saw a little bit of my son in Henry and it warmed my heart but also made me sad as he had a lot to go through for a such a young boy.
The love that builds between Olivia and Emily is beautifully written with moments of pure chemistry that you feel oozing from the page. These two are fated to be together and it’s so obvious to everyone around them, including you as the reader.
No cliffhanger this time but that doesn’t mean that I’m not praying for a third instalment. Loved it from chapter one.
