Healing Springs by Rhavensfyre

Unexpectedly Fantastic!

What was the book about?:

Selene McAlister had it all; fame, fortune, beauty, until one day it was all taken from her in the blink of an eye. After a life-altering car accident, Selene is forced to return to her family home in Healing Springs (aptly named for the springs on the family’s property). Selene is lost, no longer able to write and her memory has gaping holes in it. Amy Fontaine, Selene’s best friend from childhood, runs two successful businesses in town, and she is determined to help Selene find her way again. As old secrets are unearthed and lost memories revealed, Selene has to come to terms with the choices she made and how they affected her, as well as the people she loves the most.

Featured Tropes:

Friends to lovers; paranormal

Book Strengths:

This is a truly engaging story that will keep you interested from beginning to end. The books are powerful and stick with you. It’s so good I have reread it three times.

Character Chemistry:

I love Amy so much. The love she has for Selene seems transcendent. Even though I spent a lot of time going back and forth between having sympathy for Selene and wanting to slap the hell out of her, I never once didn’t want her to find the light at the end of her tunnel.

Heat Rating: 🔥🔥

This story and these characters will stay with you for a long time after you close the book.

Star Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
